Susan Kelly

In memory of Sue who was my first practice teacher when I was a social work student at Manchester Royal Infirmary and always the benchmark against which I measured others and later modelled myself on. Sue would become a much loved colleague and mentor. She will be much missed.

In memory of a good friend for more than sixty years, I first met Susan when she was a student at Liverpool with her friend Angela. Her late husband Peter Short was my closest friend.

Mum would want the benefit she received from cancer research to extend to future patients. She always participated in trials where appropriate, in the hope she could help others.

A wise and wonderful colleague in work, who enjoyed her \'gadding\' with Paul and family in retirement.
