In memory of our dear friend, Howard. From College japes, through a stellar teaching career, to a happy an active 'retirement' as a Caravan Club Warden; & above all, as a great friend. We have hiked, camped, enjoyed a pint or two & shared laughter with Howard down the years. He brought fun to the most mundane of situations, lighting up everyone's day with a cheery "buongiorno!" - often to complete strangers - leaving them puzzled, but always smiling. We loved his company, & will miss him greatly.
Absolute one of a kind, Yorkshire man through and through and such a kind and fun uncle! the jokes, quirky phrases, dance moves..always the life and soul of the party and we'll miss him loads. Sending lots of love to Auntie Chris, David, Jenna and the whole family Xx

It is so difficult to find the words to say how all feel about Howard. He was the BEST BOSS, every day was a pleasure to go to work, he made sure learning was fun for all the children and ensured all his staff felt valued ,giving us opportunities to reach our full potential, thankyou Howard ❤️ Sending love to all the family. In memory of our dear friend Howard who loved life to the full. We met 56 years ago and there was never a dull moment when he was around. So many memories to look back on and a massive loss to all who knew him. It's fitting that the RSPB has been chosen as we know he was a twitcher.
