The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. We provide a 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service around the coasts of the UK and RoI, as well as a seasonal lifeguard service on many of the busiest beaches in England and Wales. Volunteers are the heart of the RNLI. We rely on more than 40,000 volunteers - on lifeboats, at stations, on beaches, and in fundraising. Some crew members and most lifeguards are full time. They work with other staff to ensure comprehensive safety coverage around our islands. The RNLI is an independent charity with a board of volunteer trustees. ▼
www.rnli.org.uk/inmemoryHonoring my dear aunty Wendy. You were one of my mother's best friends from childhood onwards. At her request you agreed to be my godmother & became a wonderful role model of kindness, thoughtfulness & love. I will miss our Christmas letters which were so comforting & helped to keep me feel connection to back home in England. Thank you.XXX
